Here’s the overall schedule of the various contests that will happen during YuFest 2021.
- Participation registration deadline: August 31, 2021
- Topics for entry submission: Aug 26 to Aug 30, 2021
- Submission of entries: Sep 1 to Sep 15, 2021
- Preliminary events (where applicable): Sep 10-Sep 20, 2021
- Shortlisting of finalists: Sep 15 to Sep 30, 2021
- Topics for finals: Oct 1 onwards
- Finals: Oct 4- Oct 10, 2021
Entries for most contests will be in the form of an uploaded image, video (youtube link) or PDF. In some cases, preliminary rounds may involve direct participation on a Zoom call or a proctored test as well. Finals for most events will be conducted via Livestreamed video (Zoom or other apps) and in some cases (especially art and design contests) through a timed contest, monitored live.
The exact details and timelines of all contests will be posted on the website by August 26, so do check your contest page periodically for updates. Once you’ve registered to participate in an event, you will also be sent updates on email – so do check your mail inbox regularly!
